Disgraced breast cancer surgeon Ian Paterson performed unnecessary and incorrect operations on over 1,000 men and women at two private hospitals in the West Midlands.
Thompsons Solicitors began uncovering his malpractice in 2009, and following investigations he was taken to court. On 28 April 2017, Mr Paterson was found guilty of multiple counts of wounding with intent by a jury at Nottingham Crown Court. We have already secured over £1.9m in compensation for his NHS patients and we are now pursuing claims for over 350 of his private patients.
