Action on Asbestos is Scotland's largest asbestos, industrial injury and disease charity. They offer their services free to anyone in Scotland diagnosed with an asbestos or industrial disease.
They have built a network including NHS doctors and nurses, trade unions, the Scottish government, third sector organisations and legal professionals to provide a service that benefits individuals and families suffering from asbestos and industrial disease.
Thompsons’ Scotland-based offices work closely together with Action on Asbestos to raise awareness and take action against asbestos; campaigning with them in removal of asbestos from schools and public buildings; providing legal support to victims and their families. There are also connections with offices based in England and Wales for clients who have been exposed to asbestos in those regions, but now live in Scotland.
