National law firm Thompsons has announced that Nolan Mortimer has joined the firm to lead a 70-strong team across London and South East England.
Nolan Mortimer will head up the firm’s offices across London, Oxford and Dagenham.
Mr Mortimer began his career at a travel law firm after graduating from the University of Law in 1998. He’s since specialised in management and client services within the travel and personal injury sectors.
He’s moved from the national law firm Simpson Millar, where he was a key senior management team member.
During his 20 years working for the firm, he set up a new client services department and oversaw the running of its contact centre. In doing so, he successfully delivered new clients for all areas of the organisation.
Mr Mortimer hopes that his passionate yet pragmatic approach, underpinned by a drive to develop positive client and colleague experiences, will help Thompsons deliver further successes in the future.
He said: “My new role at Thompsons is a brilliant opportunity to help the firm develop further as a market leader in the personal injury sector. Thompsons is incredibly well-respected within the personal injury sector, and its lawyers have an excellent reputation for their compassionate role in supporting the injured and the bereaved.
“As someone who has succeeded in leading teams in dynamic legal services environments and understands the importance of creating the right balance of people, process and technology, I’m confident I can help the firm grow.”
Clare Mellor, chief executive of social justice law firm Thompsons Solicitors, said: “Nolan’s knowledge and experience in people management and client services are both extensive and impressive, making him perfect for the regional managing partner role.
“He is genuinely passionate about helping Thompsons grow, to develop its client services, and enhance the firm's colleague experiences.
“It’s an exciting time for Thompsons as we look to grow the business with several new additions to our team. We’re thrilled to have Nolan onboard, leading our teams in London and the South East.”
