Considerable experience in acquired brain injury (ABI)
We are pleased to announce that Mike Hope has joined the London and South East region as a consultant Client Support Co-ordinator. He brings with him considerable experience in acquired brain injury (ABI) and has worked within health and social care, as a case manager and joint funded brain injury co ordinator. He is the regional co-ordinator for UKABIF with 19 ABI forums.
Mike remains totally committed to raising the profile of brain injury needs, and ensuring that individuals and families receive appropriate ongoing rehabilitation, care and support from the earliest stages in hospital all the way out into the community, for as long as required.
Working with Thompsons Solicitors, Mike will be able to offer information, support and signposting to a range of services even as the legal case continues. He will visit in hospital or at home, make a full assessment of needs, and liaise with a variety of health, social care, education and other professionals in order to ensure that brain injury survivors and families get the best that is available.
This is an exciting opportunity for Thompsons to assist and advise the victim and their families before liability is resolved and money available to meet a full private rehabilitation programme.
