Comedy Event starring Jo Brand
Thompsons Solicitors is supporting a comedy event on Thursday, November 8 to raise funds for a brain injury charity during it’s anniversary year.
Headway East London is celebrating it’s 15th birthday with a series of events during 2012 and 2013 to raise essential funds to continue its work in the East London community.
Internationally renowned comedienne, writer and actress Jo Brand will be heading up a night of comedy at The Bedroom Bar in Shoreditch.
As patron of Headway East London in 1999 Jo has seen first hand the good work that Headway has carried out in the community.
Specialist services and therapies to those with brain injuries
The charity runs the only brain injury centre of its kind in inner London, offering specialist services and therapies to those with brain injuries.
The event, which will also see performances from Sarah Kendall, MC David Morgan, Pat Cahill and Alfie Brown, begins at 8pm.
Thompsons Solicitors, which works to claim compensation for many victims of brain injury, is sponsoring the event.
Christalla Christodoulidou from Thompsons said: “We are delighted to support this event to celebrate the good work Headway has carried out for this community during the last 15 years. At Thompsons we work with many people who have suffered from brain injuries. We know how important it is for victims and their families to have a support network like Headway. We look forward to continuing to support Headway so it can continue to provide its much needed services long into the future.”
