Improve the quality of life for young people with a brain injury
Thompsons Solicitors, specialist solicitors who daily deal with brain injury compensation claims, welcome the Child Brain Injury Trust’s Helpline Information Project.
The Child Brain Injury Trust is a charity which aims to improve the quality of life for young people with a brain injury by providing events, conferences, grants and a helpline.
The Helpline Information Project is run through volunteers who are supported by staff at the Child Brain Injury Trust. The team of volunteers then offer support to families and as well as providing details of useful services, and it can also help families devise practical strategies. This Project is now seeking more volunteers, and details are available from Caroline Molloy on 01869 341075.
Henrietta Phillips, a specialist solicitor who handles brain injury compensation claims, said: “This project provides a lifeline to many families. Brain injury is a hidden disability, and when it affects children the difficulties faced are often magnified. This project will help families address issues often before they arise, and will seek to enable children with brain injuries to continue living their lives to the full”.
