Christalla Christodoulidou, a specialist solicitor at Thompsons Solicitors who handles brain injury compensation claims, attended the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers' conference this summer in London.

Christalla said: “The conference was an opportunity to reflect on the role of Brain Injury Case Managers and the increased involvement of them generally but also within the scope of brain injury claims. The case study presentations by Brain Injury Case Managers and the talk on the developments in neurological rehabilitation were particularly interesting and thought provoking. It was also a chance to gain insight into the case manager’s role from their perspective. It is encouraging that the availability of brain injury rehabilitation has come so far in the ambit of personal injury claims but it is disappointing that more is not available for those on the NHS.”
