Action for Brain Injury Week is taking place between the 14th to 20th May this year. It’s a great opportunity to raise awareness of the effects of brain injury on individuals and their families as well as raising much-needed funds.
Action for Brain Injury Week 2012 is focussing on the hard work carried out by the carers of brain injury survivors who are often not recognised for the amazing job they do. Caring for someone with a brain injury can be both physically and emotionally demanding and there are often also financial pressures. Whole families are affected by having a loved one with a brain injury and lives and relationships can change.
