The South West Asbestos Support Awareness Group (SWASAG) is an independent charity that aims to provide help and practical support to people living in the South West of England affected by an asbestos-related disease.
The group offers friendly advice and support through regular monthly meetings, allowing individuals and families to share their experiences with others in similar situations, and provides information and support about benefits and compensation. The group also aims to provide education to the wider public about the dangers of asbestos.
Thompsons is proud to work closely with SWASAG through support for their events and work through sponsorship, attending their meetings, getting to know their members and raising awareness of asbestos related conditions.
